African Inspiration

Greetings from West Africa where I've travelled as part of my "day" job. Luckily, I have a job that inspires my creative side as Africa -- particularly Ghana, where I am currently located -- is a major inspiration for many of my recycled glass designs.

Friday, July 1st was the 51st anniversary of Ghana's becoming a republic; it's a national holiday. Today is the 4th of July, a celebration of the adoption of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. In honor of mother Africa, the cradle of civilization, I have put together an Etsy collection of Afro-centric and African-inspired items from our EAOC team members. The treasury can be found at the following site:

Happy 4th of July -- for whatever it may symbolize for you.
